Part Time Janitor

The City of Ashville is currently accepting applications for the position of Part Time Janitor.  The primary duty of the janitor is to keep City Hall, the Library, Ball Park and City Park facilities clean and in an orderly condition. General duties include, but are not limited to:  keeping floors clean, emptying trash, cleaning bathrooms, dusting, sanitizing and any other responsibilities as requested. The position generally works 10-12 hours per week, but no more than 19 hours in one week.  The part time janitor is responsible for cleaning the council chambers after it has been rented for an event.  For a copy of the full job description, please click here or email City Clerk, Chrystal St. John at cstjohn@cityofashville.org.  Applications will be accepted at City Hall until close of business on July 6, 2022.


Temporary Part Time Senior Center Manager

The City of Ashville is currently accepting applications for the position of Temporary Part Time Senior Center Manager.   This is temporary position for approximately 6 months.  The position will work no more than 29 hours per week. Police Officer Full Time

The Ashville Police Department is accepting applications for one(1)) Full Time Police Officer. Applicants must be APOSTC certified or willing to attend the next available academy.
