The City of Ashville PublicWorks Department is currently accepting applications for a Public Works Laborer.   Thisis a general labor position that works with street maintenance, parkmaintenance, general maintenance, potable water, and wastewater maintenance.The employee will perform various tasks, which include cleaning and maintainingfacilities, mowing grass, street maintenance and upkeep, repairing, orreplacing broken pipes, pumps, belts, etc. Incumbent works under thesupervision of the Public Works Supervisor.
