The City of Ashville PublicWorks Department is currently accepting applications for a Public Works Laborer.   Thisis a general labor position that works with potable water, wastewatermaintenance, street maintenance, park maintenance and general maintenance. Theemployee will perform various tasks, which include cleaning and maintainingfacilities, mowing grass, street maintenance and upkeep, reading water meters,repairing, or replacing broken pipes, pumps, belts, etc. Incumbent works underthe supervision of the Public Works Supervisor.
