The City of Ashville Public Works Department is currently accepting applications for a Public Works Laborer.   This is a general labor position that works with potable water, wastewater maintenance, street maintenance, park maintenance and general maintenance. The employee will perform various tasks, which include cleaning and maintaining facilities, mowing grass, street maintenance and upkeep, reading water meters, repairing, or replacing broken pipes, pumps, belts, etc. Incumbent works under the supervision of the Street Supervisor.

The Ashville Fire Department is accepting applications for one (1) Full Time Fire Fighter.  Applicants must possess ahigh school diploma or equivalent.  Applicants must possess an Alabama Fire Fighter 1 Certification. 

The Ashville Fire Department is accepting applications for a Part Time as needed Fire Fighter.  Applicants must possess an Alabama Fire Fighter 1 Certification.
