Municipal Court

All traffic and misdemeanor cases are heard before the Municipal Judge in the City Hall Building located at 211 8th Street on the second Monday of each month at 1:00 p.m.

Payment before Court Date:
Some violations may be paid prior to the court date. Tickets may be paid in person to the Court during regular business hours or by mail. Acceptable payment methods are cash, certified check, money order or MasterCard, Visa and Discover cards. NO PERSONAL CHECKS ACCEPTED.

There is a 4.5% service fee assessed on all card payments by a third party payment technology company.  The city receives absolutely no additional revenue from this service fee.

The links to documents for requesting a warrant may be found below. Both documents must be completed in their entirety and emailed to srobinson@cityofashville.org or faxed to (205) 594 – 4292. Please included a phone number in which you can be reached. A magistrate will follow up with you as soon as possible regarding your request.
